At Short Game, we celebrate growth, grit, and greatness. Today, we are proud to share one of the most meaningful milestones in our Academy’s story. Destiny McNeil, a standout member of the Short Game Performance Academy, has officially committed to play golf for the University of Georgia beginning in the fall of 2027. This achievement represents years of dedication, sacrifice, discipline, and an unwavering commitment to excellence. It also represents the heart of our mission. Helping players reach their full potential, on and off the course.

Destiny’s journey is not an overnight success story. It is a timeline of steady growth, challenges, breakthroughs, and relentless work. She first picked up a golf club as a young girl, and like many players who fall in love with the game, she quickly discovered that golf is more than a sport. It is a test of patience, mindset, and character. Over the years, Destiny has demonstrated those qualities at the highest level.

Her accomplishments speak for themselves. Destiny has earned two significant AJGA victories in 2025 and continues to compete among the top junior players in the United States. In addition to her tournament achievements, Destiny currently ranks among the top 100 juniors in the Rolex American Junior Golf rankings, sitting proudly inside the top 100 at number 83. She has also set the women’s course record at Alsatian Golf Club with an impressive round of 64 from the back tees. This achievement alone demonstrates the level of preparation and skill she brings to the course each time she tees it up.

One of the things that separates Destiny from many junior golfers is her elite speed and power. With a top recorded driver swing speed of 108 miles per hour, she swings faster than many LPGA professionals currently competing on tour. That kind of speed is rare, and when paired with accuracy, short game precision, and a confident putter, it becomes one of the most valuable weapons in competitive golf. Destiny has spent years refining that weapon.

At Short Game, we are committed to giving athletes the structure, tools, and coaching necessary to perform at their highest level. It has been our privilege to walk alongside Destiny as she pursued her dreams. She trains in an environment where technology and coaching are combined with intentional leadership and personal development. With access to TrackMan technology, structured performance tracking, supervised practice, high level coaching, and competitive simulation, Destiny has been able to train like a collegiate athlete long before becoming one.

But tools alone do not create champions. Coaching, accountability, and intentional development play a significant role, and Destiny has benefitted from a team that believes in her. Our instructors have helped shape her fundamentals, strengthen her mental approach, refine her decision making, and sharpen her competitive instincts. The Short Game Performance Academy is built around developmental systems, measurable progress, and personalized training. Destiny is a clear example of what happens when talent meets structure.

One of Destiny’s strongest qualities is teachability. She shows up ready to learn, ready to put in work, and ready to do what others are not willing to do. Late night practice, early mornings, uncomfortable adjustments, and the willingness to receive feedback have become normal parts of her routine. She practices with intention. She competes with purpose. And she represents herself, her family, and our Academy with integrity.

The University of Georgia has a rich and respected tradition in collegiate golf. Their program is known for excellence, discipline, and producing athletes who go on to succeed at the highest levels of the game. For Destiny, committing to Georgia is both the fulfillment of a dream and the beginning of a new challenge. She is joining a competitive field of collegiate athletes who hold themselves to a high standard. Make no mistake. Destiny belongs there.

As an Academy, we believe that accomplishments belong to players, but celebration belongs to the community. Behind every scholarship offer are countless hours of practice, encouragement from parents and coaches, and support from teammates who share in the journey. Destiny’s path is a reminder to every junior golfer that dreams are built, not wished into existence.

So today, we celebrate.

We celebrate the young girl who believed she could. We celebrate the athlete who continues to push her limits. We celebrate the competitor who refuses to settle. And we celebrate the woman she is becoming. A woman of confidence, discipline, focus, and faith.

To Destiny McNeil. Congratulations. You earned this opportunity. You worked for it. And you have only scratched the surface of what is possible.

To the McNeil family. Thank you for trusting Short Game with Destiny’s development. It is an honor and responsibility we do not take lightly.

To our current athletes. Let Destiny’s story remind you that excellence is not an accident. It is built one practice, one round, one decision at a time.

To the University of Georgia. You are getting a fierce competitor, a humble learner, and a future leader.

And finally, to everyone watching Destiny’s journey. This is not the finish line. This is the launch point.

The best is ahead.

Congratulations Destiny. We are proud of you.

Welcome to the next chapter.

Go Dawgs.
